Hello, amazing friends of Hive!
I hope you're all having a wonderful week.
For me, it's been quite a rainy one here in Owerri—it has been raining since last week, making the weather very cold. Still, I'm grateful for the rain, as it is truly a blessing from the Lord.
It’s another Thankful Thursday, and I’m so thankful to be alive and thriving. Seeing the school term gradually coming to an end fills me with appreciation. I’m especially grateful for God's protection over both our teachers and learners, as they’ve journeyed to and from school safely every day for the past two months. That alone is a great blessing.
As we prepare to wrap up this academic session, we decided to take our learners on an educational visit— excursion to the Imo State Council for Arts and Culture here in Owerri. This trip was meant to reinforce what they've been learning about the history and heritage of our beloved country, Nigeria. Truly, Nigeria is richly blessed with cultural heritage.
It was an enlightening and impactful experience. The learners had their questions answered and were excited to see historical items such as thatched houses, traditional shrines, and beautifully crafted artistic drawings.
Honestly, today was a memorable and fun-filled day for both the teachers and learners of Excelsior Royal School.
