It was as if I had gone out to hunt reflections that day.
And I just wanted to visit a cultural and historical monument - an ancient sharapana.
So what you see in front of you, the water and the reflections in it are not just reflections in a puddle. These are reflections in the water in a very ancient monument, a rock hewn vessel for wine production, a ritual stone of the ancient and mystical Thracians. I hope you have heard of Orpheus, the wine god Dionysius, etc.
So, to some extent, these are sacred and mystical, very ancient reflections that have gathered a 2800-year history. Imagine going somewhere (here) and looking in a 2800-year-old mirror. It's amazing, isn't it!
And these two reflections - of the car of three young women we met in this place, in a puddle, are a bonus.
This is now a simple reflection of a car in a puddle. Although, who knows? 😉
