RE: 🎸Four Tune Friday! On Nineties Friday! 🎺 Nineties Ska Bands! Tunes That Didn’t Make It Mainstream But Had Rad Tunes! 💿 Major Label Bands & Bonus Indie Label Tunes!

That is some awesome third generation ska, the 90's had some great tunes from some great ska bands. I have to say, I loved them all today, Edna's Goldfish is completely new to me, but I love the sound. I wasn't in the US when that one came out, must be why I never heard of them. Down in the Caribbean it was mostly music in Spanish that I listened to in those days... I do miss living in the islands though!

Awesome post!

I’m biased that I went to punk shows in the eighties when Gene was sucking his mom’s milk. I even remember a skinhead fight at an eighties Black Flag show. The band hated skin heafs but in my past life I was friends with one and me and him kept trying to pretend we were hitting one another because we were both skinny weak young bucks. He was my cousin and not a bad guy but fell into the wrong crowd. Ironically he has 5 mixed race child today with a beautiful mother and turned out a good guy so all is well. But remember those days? Skin heads as did we but they used to show up to punk & ska shows just to fight in the eighties. I was in Chicago area as a kid. What a different time.
