Paris Saint-Germain have another trophy in the cabinet after beating Aston Villa 2-1 in the UEFA Super Cup.
But honestly, I don't think this was an easy night for PSG.
Going into the game, I expected PSG to have the upper hand, especially considering the quality they have in their squad. They did get the win in the end, but Villa made them work for it and showed that they were not just there to make up the numbers despite losing their key players in the ongoing transfer window.

Kvaratskhelia gave PSG the lead in the first half with a lovely finish after cutting inside from the left. At that point, it looked like PSG might take control of the game.
Then Brian Madjo happened.
The 17-year-old scored on his professional debut and became the youngest player to score in UEFA Super Cup history. That's some introduction to senior football.
What caught my attention was not just the goal, but the confidence he showed afterwards. He had a few other chances too, and with a little more luck, he could have ended the night with more than one goal.
For a 17-year-old playing against PSG, that's impressive.
Villa eventually went behind again when Désiré Doué scored early in the second half. PSG had their lead back, and from there they did enough to see the game through.
Villa tried to respond, but PSG's experience showed when it mattered most.
Still, I think Unai Emery will have plenty of positives to take from this match. With some senior players unavailable, young players like Madjo and George Hemmings were given an opportunity, and they did not look completely overwhelmed by the occasion.
For me, Madjo was probably the biggest talking point from the Villa side.
Losing the Super Cup will obviously hurt, but if this is the kind of performance their young players can produce, Villa fans have reasons to be excited about what is coming.
As for PSG, another trophy is another trophy. They may not have been at their absolute best, but they got the job done.
Sometimes that's what really matters most.
