The transfer window never disappoints when it comes to rumours, and one story that recently caught my attention is Aston Villa's reported interest in Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson. Though, nothing is official yet, but it's one of those rumours that actually feels believable.

Emery knows Jackson better than most managers. The pair worked together at Villarreal, where Jackson started showing the potential that eventually earned him a move to Chelsea then. There were even reports last year that Emery wanted to bring him to Villa, so seeing his name linked with the club again is not exactly surprising.
As a Chelsea fan, I'm honestly torn on this one.
Jackson has had moments where he looks like a top-quality striker in blues jersey. His pace causes problems, he never stops making runs, and his work rate is something you can't question ss well. Even when he is having a poor game in front of goal, he keeps chasing defenders and trying to make things happen.
At the same time, his finishing has often left fans frustrated. There have been matches where he could have scored two or three goals but walked away with none. That's why opinions about him are so divided. Some supporters believe he just needs more time, while others think Chelsea should look elsewhere for a more clinical number nine.
From Aston Villa's point of view, though, I can understand the interest. Emery already knows how to get the best out of Jackson, and sometimes that's all a player needs. We have seen plenty of footballers struggle at one club before rediscovering their confidence under a manager who truly understands them.
Of course, this rumour also comes at a time when Chelsea and Villa are reportedly discussing Morgan Rogers. Whether the two situations are connected or not, it certainly adds another layer of intrigue to the story.
I personally would not rush to sell Jackson. He is still young, and consistency is often the last thing a striker develops. Chelsea have invested in him, and it would be frustrating to watch him become a complete striker somewhere else after being patient through his difficult moments.
Still, if the player feels a reunion with Emery is the best step for his career, it would be hard to blame him.
For now, it's only speculation, but it's definitely one of the more interesting transfer stories to follow.
