Hi my fellow owl,

It is around 4am here in Nigeria and I wake up to be owl and share my own thoughts about the different between day and night.
The difference between night and day goes far beyond the obvious change in light and darkness for me. It is not just about the sun setting and the moon rising; it is more about a complete shift in atmosphere, energy, and even mindset.
The Day
During the day time, everything feels demanding and fast-paced. The moment the sun rises, responsibilities begin to call, because there are tasks to complete, people to interact with, and goals to chase.
The noise of daily life, different engine's sound, cars moving, people talking, phones ringing and all sort of that creates a kind of pressure that keeps me constantly active.
No doubt, daytime is productive, because It is when I get most of my work done, especially taking care of my broiler chickens, going to work when people need my service, running errands, taking my boy to school or planning for the future.
The day always pushes me to act, move and to keep going, regardless of whether I feel like it or not.
The night…but the night is different.
Night time is different, it brings a calmness that the day rarely offers. As darkness spreads, everything seems to slow down and go on a silent mode.
The noise fades and the environment becomes quieter, and I finally get a space to breathe. The night feels like a personal space for me and almost like the world is giving me permission to pause and reflect.
Reflection is one of the thing that really makes the night special because I'm too occupied to have a deep thinking about my life or my decisions during the day time.
But things are different at night, as I find myself going over the events of the day and reflect about my decisions, what I did right, what I could have done better, and what I should focus on next.
Night time becomes a time of self-evaluation and growth and sometimes, I even come up with better ideas of what to do next either regarding my life or for my farming or content creation mostly at night than during the day.
Emotional atmosphere is another difference between day and night because the day feels practical and seriously occupied, but the night feels emotional and thoughtful time.
Memories come alive at night and its that period I get to think about my journey, the struggles I have faced, and the progress I have made. Though it can be peaceful, but sometimes it can also feel a bit lonely, but despite that, the quiet loneliness often drives me to dream bigger and stay motivated.
Night usually gives me a different kind of focus without distractions and this makes me concentrate better on anything I'm doing at that moment.
Whether I am writing posts, planning my next steps, or simply thinking about how to improve my life, the silence of the night helps me to clearly think and It feels like as if my mind only works better when the world around me is asleep.
There is always something special about the environment during the night time. The cool breeze, the stillness, the silent and the calm sky which create a relaxing feeling.
Unlike the heat, noise and stress of the day, the night feels gentle. For someone involved in poultry farming, especially in a place like Nigeria where heat can be intense during day time, night time even feels like relief—not just for me, but for my birds as well.
Inconclusion, what really makes the night different from the day for me is the shift from activity to reflection, from noise to silence, and from pressure to peace. The day builds my productivity, but the night builds my thoughts also.
Both moment are crucial, but in very different ways because I wouldn't make progress without the day and I wouldn’t understand my journey without the night.
