‎Not Everyone Is Meant to Stay in Your Story ‎

in GEMS10 days ago

‎Hello Hives,

‎One lesson life keeps teaching me is that not everyone who walks into our lives is meant to stay forever. When we are younger, we often believe that the people we laugh with today will still be beside us years from now. But as time passes, reality proves otherwise. People change, priorities change, and sometimes life simply takes us in different directions.

‎I used to think that when someone left, it meant I had done something wrong. But with time, I realized that not every goodbye is a punishment. Some people come into our lives for a season. They play the role they were meant to play, and when that chapter ends, they move on. It doesn't always feel fair, but that's how life works.

‎Looking back now, I can honestly say that every person I have met has left something behind. Some left beautiful memories that still make me smile today. They encouraged me when I was struggling, believed in me when I doubted myself, and celebrated my small victories. Those people were true blessings, and I will always be grateful for them.

‎Others left behind painful memories. They disappointed me, broke promises, or walked away when I needed them the most. At the time, I questioned why those things happened. But as the years passed, I understood that those experiences made me stronger. They taught me to be more careful, to value myself, and to recognize genuine people when they come into my life. The pain was not wasted after all because it later became a lesson.

‎Then there are the people who were both a blessing and a lesson. They brought happiness into my life, but when they left, they also taught me something I could not have learned any other way. Those are the experiences that shape who we become.

‎One thing I never want to lose, no matter what life throws at me, is a good heart. The actions of others should never change the kind of person I choose to be. If someone hurts me, I don't want bitterness to take over my life. I'd rather keep treating people with kindness, even if they don't always return it.

‎I have also learned that we don't always understand why things happen when they're happening. Sometimes the answers only come much later. That's why I have learned to trust the process. What feels like a painful ending today could be making room for something much better tomorrow.

‎So, appreciate the people who are still walking beside you, let go of those who have chosen a different path, and never regret being kind. Every person you meet is either a blessing, a lesson, or a little bit of both. In the end, every encounter becomes part of the story that shapes your life.
