I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
As of this morning my 10 Pillars of Active and Passive Hive Income need to be updated, because I just dove into the asset-leveraging opportunity of leasing my Hive Power, something that I had only tried once or twice via DLease, quite a long time ago. So there are 6 Pillars to the Passive part (My Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine) of the above-mentioned 10 Pillars, bringing it now to 11, 5 active and 6 passive. Leasing HP via Hive Engine looks like it may be one of the best sources for SWAP.HIVE, an asset of which I am perpetually in need.
So just a short time ago I accepted a lease request for 700 Hive Power for 4 weeks, which will pay out around 0.284 SWAP.HIVE daily, and about 6.816 SWAP.HIVE in total over the month, with a 9.21% APR, which is better than I receive from curation. This SWAP.HIVE will mostly be funneled into a wide assortment of various diesel/liquidity pools, to increase my stake, and therefore my income.
The one downside to delegating out 700 HP is that it took me a bit past my 50/50 ratio for HP delegations, 744 HP over, to be exact. Since this new form of asset leveraging competes with my regular HP delegations, it's going to be an interesting dance seeing how I can make them work together. It also doesn't help that each lease is different, which makes predicting future numbers a bit more challenging over the course of a year. The gains from leasing seem very good indeed, however, and I'm excited to continue working with it moving forward.
Six different streams of passive Hive income is pretty sweet, and it makes my Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine even more complete (I hope that you liked the rhyme...hehe). One thing that I really like about HP leasing is that each lease is for a set duration, with a clearly defined return by the end of it. I'll take that over potential returns any day.
There are multiple of my layer-2 investments that boost my layer-1 growth, with HP leasing being one of the very few that is a layer-1 investment that boosts my layer-2 growth, so it's great to get more balance in this regard. With the SWAP.HIVE that I receive from diesel/liquidity pools (daily), my BBH holding (weekly), and now HP leasing (daily), a little over 0.5+ SWAP.HIVE per day will now be available for deeper investments into layer-2, and especially in the pools. I'd be lying if I said that this doesn't give me a tinge of excitement.
Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, after wrapping up my Hive tasks, and listening to a great video about Hive, a bit later than usual, a little after 3PM. While I had intended to take photos for my posts first, the overcast weather was not cooperating, so I got my machete and went to clear the trail out to La'a Pueo. The sun never really made any notable appearance for the rest of the day, so I just did the best I could with photography. Once I had gotten a good batch of photos, I headed to the Landing to make myself some food (a simple grilled cheese, with pepperjack cheese, and mixed mustards, on sourdough), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I returned to the Flow House, to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by around 8:30PM, at which point I wrote and published My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 223 - Four O'Clock Flower Reflections, did some asset management, and then I went to bed a little after 11:30PM. I woke up about 7AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing around 7:30AM, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12:15PM, so a fantastic time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until the next version of this post tomorrow! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
