I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
One of the exceptional aspects about Hive that I love so much is that anyone can become a builder. Hive is a 100% community-centric and driven blockchain framework, which depends on members of the Hive community getting themselves involved, and making things happen. This whole incredible framework that we call Hive exists, and continues to evolve and develop, because Hivers like you and me decided to dive in and start building and co-creating.
The Hive Blockchain Ecosystem has such a rich diversity of wonderful community-created components, and opportunities to invest, leverage, and grow assets, across both layer 1 and layer 2 (and layer 2 is about to expand massively with VSC) that can be woven together into myriad systems that benefit everyone. If done with sufficient awareness and finesse, these mutually-beneficial systems can become synergistic, where the value of the whole system is greater than that of all its individual components summed together. That's the goal.
Along with investing, leveraging, and growing my assets in a trustless framework with a self-custodial wallet, working to construct and co-create these Maximum Mutual Benefit Synergy Systems that bring benefit to the whole Ecosystem, is what inspires, motivates, and excites me the most about how I spend my time on Hive. My focus is very purposeful, and I continue to learn, adjust, and refine as I go.
Anybody on Hive (depending on skill and resources) can create a community, a token, a diesel/liquidity pool, a contest or challenge, a useful service, a frontend or game, among innumerable other blockchain possibilities. It's all up to us, to you and me, to make our ideas real in this glorious community-created Ecosystem. Let's build something that blows our minds with how amazing it is.
The more diverse elements of the Hive Ecosystem of which we're aware, and the more we understand and come to know about it, the more we will be capable of contributing to it, and building within it, at a deeper and greater level, which is good for all of us. There are no 'users' on Hive, only creators and builders, and those who don't yet understand that they are creators and builders.
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a bit later than expected due to rain, a little before 3PM. Despite the rainy, overcast weather, I focused on photography for my posts first, after which I went to help Ano unload his truck after his Friday cocoing trip, and then reload it for the Sunday market the next morning. When we got that done, we put our efforts into finishing up the improvised fencing around the new yacón planting beds, and planting the first batch of yacón. When we completed that just before sunset, I took a shower, then I headed to the Landing to make myself some food (a simple grilled cheese, on sourdough, with pepperjack cheese, and mixed mustards), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I returned to the Flow House, to gently jump into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I was able to get everything done by around 8:45PM, and after some asset management, and a long scan of my X feed, I went to bed a little before 12:30AM. I woke up quite late indeed, about 8:30AM, having slept pretty well, doing more asset management, getting out of bed around 9AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now a bit after 1:15PM, so a fantastic time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
