I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
This morning I had the idea to do some web searches for truly KYC-free, non/self-custodial, and trustless decentralized exchanges and wallets, and I'm a bit late in beginning on this post, as I was quite occupied in finding and delving into several possibilities. With so many controlled puppet governments worldwide enacting ever more invasive and unlawful regulations and restrictions on how people manage and exchange their crypto assets, the only truly viable options in the long term are those frameworks that are outside of their control, which is why I've begun to make a list, both for me personally, and for all of you who might read this.
There actually turned out to be more than I was expecting, which is what took me so long to get to writing this post. I made my search parameters pretty strict, only KYC-free, non/self-custodial, trustless, and decentralized/distributed/peer-to-peer frameworks, without any regional restrictions, and that support multiple blockchains and their respective assests. So no centralized exchanges at all, or any that require an email, a phone numbers, or any other kind of identifying information to utilize their services.
I already knew about, and had set up, two of the best decentralized self-custodial wallets, Trust Wallet and Atomic Wallet, which I've slowly begun to explore and use more fully. Hive, Blurt, Qortal, Bastyon, DeSo, and Voi wallets would also be included here, though I was focusing mostly on cross/multi-chain wallets that allow for the easy, quick, and efficient management, investment, leveraging, and exchange of assets across as many blockchain ecosystems as possible. Trust Wallet and Atomic Wallet do indeed meet these criteria.
For the decentralized exchanges (DEXes) that fall within these parameters, I found Uniswap, PancakeSwap, SwapRocket, GhostSwap, Godex, BasicSwap, RetoSwap, and StealthEX, though I haven't had the opportunity to make use of any of those just yet, since I just discovered most of them, but I plan to do that over the next few weeks, so you'll likely hear more about them in future posts. Some of these are more limited in the number of assets that can be used with them, like those focused on privacy coins like MONERO, but all of them do at least work with multiple assets.
I no longer make use of any centralized exchanges, or any crypto frameworks of platforms that require KYC to utilize, only availing myself and my assets to those where I hold my private keys. This is in alignment with the original blockchain ethos, which I think is extremely important, because it means that my assets are mine, that they cannot be seized (unless private keys are compromised) or frozen, and that I can use them however I want, without governement extortion or control. Yep, that sounds pretty excellent to me.
Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, after wrapping up my Hive tasks, a bit before 2:30PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. Once I had a nice batch taken, I spent some time sunbathing on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn, and then I went to help Braja with a couple tasks at her place, after which I buzzed my head and face (I was getting a bit too shaggy), and took a shower. After a quick asset-management beak up at the Flow House, I trekked across the property to Ano's nursery to retrieve more 2-gallon pots, and after returning to my nursery behind the Landing, I did some more up-potting of the last batch of young white mountain apple trees still in 1-gallon pots. When I had that done, I cleaned up, collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and then I made my way back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by around 10:30PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed just before 11:30PM. I woke up I'm the middle of the night, around 3AM, and I wasn't really able to get back to sleep, trying until I finally just got up a little after 6AM, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:30PM, so a great time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, go focus first on photography for my posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's version of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
