Well, I'm happy to report that Bjorn's new payout script for our daily ALIVE dividends worked very well yesterday, with all payouts being sent successfully. There was one itsy-bitsy, tiny little issue with the amount of HIVE sent out daily/at once, however. Our backend coding maestro, Bjorn, in his exhaustion from life and rewriting and testing the payout script, forgot to change the quantity of HIVE sent out per day, so when the script was triggered to send out the HIVE for the daily ALIVE dividends yesterday, it was still using the testing setting from the night before, so it sent out all of the 15 HIVE that we had alloted for the week, in one go. Yep, that was a bit of a problem.
I messaged Bjorn about it, and he responded around 3AM his time, which is when he changed the HIVE quantity in the script, and sacrificed yet another 16 HIVE of his own funds to replace the HIVE that was incorrectly sent, so that we have enough for a week of ALIVE dividends. So basically, the new script is working fine, and due to our sleep-deprived coder, y'all got quite a nice bonus of HIVE this week, so enjoy it, and are y'all powering up all this bonus HIVE?
The payout script should send out the correct amount of HIVE in the ALIVE dividends today, which will definitely be less than the last two payouts, since it will be distributing 2.143 HIVE daily, as opposed to 15 HIVE, which is the present weekly allotment. I'll continue working to increase our weekly HIVE income so that we'll be able to raise the amount of HIVE sent out each week in the daily ALIVE dividends, and in the payouts to our HP delegators, as time progresses.
I'm also quite happy to report that our ALIVE tipping bot, @youarealive, is now successfully distributing dual/symmetrical tips, with 0.1 ALIVE going to both the tippee, and to the tipper as well, which I'm sure that y'all will appreciate! As the market price of ALIVE increases (yes, I know that it's dropped a bit), which it will, those tips of 0.1 ALIVE will become all the more valuable!
Our new ALIVE:SWAP.HIVE diesel/liquidity pool is also going quite well, now with 15 liquidity providers, a total liquidity of $20.078/2,827.766 ALIVE/90.497 SWAP.HIVE, the total amount of fees earned are at $0.16378/19.014 ALIVE/0.864 SWAP.HIVE, and the swapping/trading volume has reached $130.289/15,607.149 ALIVE/672.265 SWAP.HIVE. I'm also continuing to add to the liquidity rewards regularly. The fiat values are based on present prices, with both HIVE and ALIVE taking a bit of a beating this week, hence the lower fiat-dollar numbers. After our obstacles and interruptions that we had this week, things are beginning to smooth out once again, which will likely have a direct and positive effect on the market price of ALIVE. I also expect that Ben will do more of his mega buys of ALIVE at some point soon again too, where he clears all or most of the sell orders, which will also have a very good effect on ALIVE's price. So things are looking up, my friends, we're moving forward, surmounting challenges and obstacles as we go, and building a thriving ALIVE system of abundance, for all of us, one step at a time.
Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, a little after 2:15PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, which was not easy given that it was a very cloudy, rainy, and wet day. After getting a good batch of shots, I did a few small chores and tasks, followed by a trek around the property in search of harvestable bananas (I found one, big rack). Once I had that done, and after one other small chore, I headed to the Landing to make myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned ground beef, eggs, onions, tomatoes, green and red sweet peppers, amaranth and longevity spinach leaves, homemade pickles with juice, olive oil, and sea salt), and after eating my fill, I collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks. I got everything done very early again, a bit before 8:30PM, and after some asset management, and talking with Bjorn on Discord about the payout script, I went to bed just after 10PM. I woke up a bit before 6AM again, having slept well, doing more asset management on my phone (since the power from our solar electrical system crashed again last night, so I couldn't use my laptop), going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing once the powered had returned, then making my way back to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:45PM, so it's quite an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, then on community/land work. 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
