I'm happy to say that, as of last night, I've achieved and exceeded all 3 of my primary 2025 Hive Goals, 15,000 Hive Power (15,146.961 HP today), 72 Reputation (72.47 Reputation today), and last but not least, 600 HBD in Savings, which I surpassed yesterday evening with the claiming of my last round of Savings interest. As soon as I claimed my interest, I took a screenshot, then I initiated the 3-day withdrawl of the total amount of 603.009 HBD.
Since HBD is Hive debt, basically a HIVE IOU, I've come to think of it kind of like a HIVE slingshot; we can only keep pulling it back (increasing the HBD in circulation and in Savings) so far, before we need to let it go, and turn it back into HIVE and Hive Power. I pulled my slingshot back quite a good way, and now it's time to use it to launch me several thousand HP, somewhere between 6,000 and 7,000, beyond where I find myself today.
I'll just say that my January HPUD powerup is going to be quite large indeed, and my biggest mega-powerup so far, by more than double. When all is said and done, I'll be somewhere around 22,000 Hive Power. I'll certainly be putting that to good use.
The Hive Debt is now close to 20%, and if measures are not taken very soon to get it under control, then HBD will lose its peg with the Dollar, it will decrease in value, and the interest for HBD in Savings will be lowered, or even halted for a time. To say that I am still very concerned for our Blockchain Ecosystem is an understatement. We're in dangerous waters.
The December BPUD (BBHO Powerup Day) is tomorrow, though for my time zone it arrives by 2PM, so I'll be powering up my almost 900 liquid BBHO, and writing a post about it, at some point in the early evening. It's excellent to see ALIVE now being distributed in the Saturday drips for BBHO, though I'm sad that there are no other useful and valuable tokens presently being sent with it. I really miss DUO in the drips, that's for sure. All good. Things change and shift all the time, with me adapting, improvising, and overcoming the best I can as I go.
Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by a little after 2PM, giving my attention to some photography for my posts first, and with that completed to my satisfaction, a quick food-supply run to Tutu's for the Landing. Before beginning land work, I decided to finally buzz my head and face with my electric hair clippers, as I was looking like quite the wild jungle man indeed. Once I had that done, I took a quick asset management break up at the Flow House, before undertaking the formidable multi-hour task of removing a huge amount of vegetation that had grown onto the tarp that was covering a storage area next to the Landing. In the process, I cut and collected a very large pile of longevity spinach (Gynura procumbens) that was mixed in with a whole lot of vines and bamboo. Longevity spinach is an excellent nutrient-dense green that grows very well here, so I want to make sure that as much of this large pile gets planted as possible. After I finally successfully finished that monumental endeavor, I took a shower, made myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned mini beef patties, pepperjack cheese, on olive-oil-toasted sourdough) in the Landing, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by around 9PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed by about 10:30PM. I woke up a bit after 7AM, having slept well (though still feeling a little off, with pressure in my head), doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12:15PM, so it's quite a marvelous time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, and then on community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my BPUD post later this evening, and the next incarnation of these posts tomorrow! 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
