As I discussed in yesterday's post, Ben (@benthomaswwd / @benthomasuk) and I are going full steam ahead, as we build and grow the 'We Are Alive Tribe' decentralized community economy and financial system, with taking our two tokens, ALIVE and HEARTBEAT, to the next level by working to create diverse, multi-asset backing for both of them, including the significant RWAs (Real-World Assets) of gold and silver. Ben's working out the details of how that that last part would work, while I continue leveraging and growing an increasing array of Hive layer-1 and layer-2 digital assets.
Token backing based on diverse layer-2 assets by other committed, dedicated, consistent, and trustworthy people, projects, and communities, on assorted off-chain assets from other blockchains, and on RWAs like gold and silver, is the present plan, and what we have in the works. Sound money requires solid backing, and that is our goal, and an essential component of a healthy and thriving community economy and financial system.
I don't know the timeline for everything just yet, other than to say that we're working as quickly as our time and resources allow. This will be the first attempt on the Blockchain, of which I'm aware at least, of backing layer-2 Hive assets with gold and silver. If we're able to successfully implement this, it would completely change the token game here on Hive, because if we're able to do it, that means that others will be able to do the same.
The more practical uses, and the more diverse multi-asset backing, that our tokens have, the more valuable that they will become, and I can tell you that we're intending to turn ALIVE and HEARTBEAT into two of the most useful and valuable assets on Hive Engine. If you like our tokens now, you just wait!
We're not here to just run a community well, but rather to take this beloved community, and its tokens, to ever-new levels of use, value, and excellence, while helping and supporting other allied people, projects, and communities, to do the same. Have I mentioned that 2026 is going to be an extraordinary year for the We Are Alive Tribe?
Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, including my once-weekly thorough asset management for the We Are Alive Tribe, by a little after 3PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and then to a few small tasks. Sundays lately are mostly spent on assorted 'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, with yesterday being no different. After photography, and my few jungle community tasks, I made myself some food (mini spiced-and-seasoned beef burgers, on olive-oil-toasted sourdough, with pepperjack cheese, and Dijon mustard) in the Landing, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks. I wasn't able to get fully caught up on my notifications again, before I had to stop by just after 10PM, to do some asset management, and then to go to bed by a bit after 10:30PM. I woke up by around 7:15AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:30PM, so it's a really good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus on some photography for my posts first, and then on community/land work. 2026 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
