"Segun! Segun! What are you doing in the chapel area?”
Segun had forgotten that he was on his way to get the communion tray for the Priest when he spotted Linda. It has been a while since Linda came around the chapel. She used to be Segun’s girlfriend before Segun was appointed the Mass Attendance for the chapel.
“Were you not supposed to go and get the communion tray? We have been waiting for you while you are busy committing sacrilege in the holy sanctuary.” The anger of the Priest clearly manifested through his voice as he scolded Segun.
Shame couldn't allow Linda to wait. So, she smuggled her way through the back door. Segun prostrated before the Priest to plead for mercy.
