Continuando mi recorrido por la ciudad de Puerto La Cruz y el Paseo Colón, hice una pausa en el parque de calistenia, un espacio donado por la Corporación Socialista del Cemento (CSC), cuya sede se encuentra en Guanta, una localidad del estado Anzoátegui. En la entrada se observan el logotipo de la CSC y un contenedor de basura. A continuación, se encuentra una estructura con muros ondulados decorados con patrones geométricos y líneas coloridas. Al otro lado se alzan hermosos edificios —principalmente hoteles y restaurantes— que reflejan los servicios y comodidades que esta zona costera ofrece a los visitantes. Por último, se aprecia una vista del parque y de la playa, acompañada por la señalización de la empresa.

Continuing my tour of the city of Puerto La Cruz and Paseo Colón, I paused at the calisthenics park—a space donated by the Socialist Cement Corporation (CSC), which is headquartered in Guanta, a town in Anzoátegui State. At the entrance, one sees the CSC logo and a trash receptacle. Next, there is a structure featuring wave-shaped walls decorated with geometric patterns and colorful lines. Across the way stand beautiful buildings—mostly hotels and restaurants—reflecting the amenities this coastal area offers visitors. Finally, there is a view of the park and the beach, complete with the company's signage.
The equipment is diverse, catering to individual needs and fitness goals with a variety of sizes and types. Beyond the health benefits it provides, the park offers beautiful views of the urban landscape—with its large, modern buildings—and the natural scenery, including incredible vistas of the beach. According to local residents, the sunsets here are among the most beautiful in the city.
Siguiendo el camino, vemos una máquina para ejercitar abdominales y brazos, y otra muy similar con funciones distintas; también hay máquinas para el pecho, el abdomen y las piernas. En el suelo hay un mural con el nombre de la empresa Vencemos, dedicada a la producción de cemento en el oriente de Venezuela.
Junto al mural se alza un muro de piedra y hormigón que se extiende desde el inicio del paseo hasta su extremo, cerca del muelle; me gusta este muro por su diseño sencillo, que armoniza bien con el entorno natural de la playa. Además de delimitar la playa y el paseo, el muro sirve como asiento; su anchura lo hace perfecto para sentarse por la tarde a socializar con familiares y amigos. Más adelante en el parque, encontramos una máquina para hombros y el mural de la empresa, seguidos de unas letras gigantes que representan el logotipo de la CSC (Corporación Socialista de Cemento). A continuación, hay más máquinas situadas sobre la arena, al otro lado del muro, ideales para trabajar hombros y espalda. Luego aparece el logotipo de la empresa, que incorpora dos cintas con los colores de la bandera venezolana; se asienta sobre una base blanca y ofrece una hermosa vista del mar. Por último, hay máquinas para abdominales y una vista increíble de los edificios situados al otro lado.
Continuing along the path, we see a machine for working the abdominals and arms, and another very similar one with different functions; there are also machines for the chest, abs, and legs. On the ground, there is a mural featuring the name of the company Vencemos, which produces cement in eastern Venezuela.
Beside the mural stands a wall made of rock and concrete that stretches from the start of the promenade to its end near the pier; I like this wall for its simple design, which blends well with the beach's natural surroundings. Beyond marking the boundary between the beach and the promenade, the wall serves as a place to sit; its width makes it perfect for sitting in the afternoon to socialize with family and friends. Moving further through the park, we see a shoulder machine and the company mural, followed by giant letters representing the logo of the CSC (Corporación Socialista de Cemento). Next, there are more machines—located on the sand on the other side of the wall—ideal for working the shoulders and back. Then comes the company logo, featuring two ribbons that form the Venezuelan tricolor; it sits on a white base offering a beautiful view of the sea. Finally, there are machines for working the abdominals and an incredible view of the buildings across the way.
Para completar el recorrido, vemos otra máquina para hombros y varias máquinas situadas junto a ella, incluyendo una bicicleta estática para las piernas y una máquina para abdominales, seguidas de equipos para pecho y espalda, y otro tipo de bicicleta diseñada para que dos personas ejerciten piernas y brazos simultáneamente. Rounding out the tour, we see another shoulder machine, several machines situated next to it—including a stationary bike for the legs and an abdominal machine—followed by equipment for the chest and back, and another type of bike designed for two people to work their legs and arms simultaneously. The machines in this calisthenics park are highly varied, offering visitors the chance to work different parts of the body and stay healthy. Combined with the sea view, this park is an excellent place to exercise while enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings.
