Ubicada en una esquina, cuenta con varias pasarelas de concreto que conducen al centro, donde se encuentra la escultura de Simón Bolívar a caballo. El pedestal es negro y en el frente indica que la plaza se encuentra en la ciudad de Puerto La Cruz. En el reverso, muestra la fecha de nacimiento de Simón Bolívar, el Libertador, y en un lateral, se indica que fue el libertador de Venezuela y otros países. This time I'm sharing my visit to Anzoátegui state and a tour of Bolívar Square. And other larger ones that offer shaded areas for those looking for a space to rest or simply share a moment with friends or family during their workday or stroll through the city. Unlike another plaza I've seen, in this one the equestrian statue of the liberator is on a horse and reminds me of the Plaza Bolívar in Caracas; the sculpture has a very similar shape, even the pedestal.
Continuando mi recorrido por esta plaza, tras detenerme y sentarme en una de las glorietas con fuentes, observé los bancos de concreto estratégicamente ubicados a lo largo de los senderos. Muchos reciben luz solar directa, mientras que otros están a la sombra de los árboles, lo que los convierte en el lugar perfecto para descansar mientras se explora el centro de la ciudad. La plaza se encuentra en una avenida que se cruza con varios establecimientos comerciales, lo que la convierte en un importante punto de encuentro y un referente tanto para residentes como para turistas.
