Tras recorrer la Plaza Bolívar en Puerto La Cruz, me dirigí al Paseo Colón, una zona recreativa que ofrece un espacio de diversión y ocio tanto para adultos como para niños. Cuenta con diversas áreas y, al caer la noche, los artesanos se instalan a lo largo del popular corredor artesanal para ofrecer artículos hechos a mano, como bolsos, llaveros, casitas de arcilla, sombreros y diversos adornos para el hogar, así como utensilios de cocina elaborados con fibras naturales y totumo. After exploring Plaza Bolívar in Puerto La Cruz, I headed to Paseo Colón, a recreational area that guarantees a space for fun and leisure for both adults and children. It features various zones, and at night, artisans set up along the popular craft trail, offering handmade items such as handbags, keychains, clay houses, hats, and various home ornaments, as well as kitchenware made from natural fibers and gourds. From Paseo Colón, I walked to Los Cocos Beach. It was my first time visiting this beach, and I loved the incredible view of the sea, the rocks, and some of the city's coastal buildings. The beach features a strategically placed walkway for visitors; next to it lies a large, rocky area where people take photos and admire the beautiful scenery. The breeze there was pleasant, and I enjoyed the sound of the waves.

Moving forward, I reached a rocky mound; the view from there—looking out toward the beach and the islands in the background—is simply beautiful. The blue of the sea blending with the sky looked stunning; it was one of the landscapes I enjoyed the most. From the mound, one can also see the cove, the bay, and some buildings situated near the mountain, as well as the formations the water has carved into the land through the constant ebb and flow of the waves. Here, you can see how erosion caused by water and wind has shaped the sandstone rocks; nearby, crabs can be seen scurrying about. Next, there is another view close to the mound featuring a different stone pathway—smaller than the previous one. The terrain is mostly bare earth, though scattered patches of grass are visible near the rocks. We also observe the land and how it has been sculpted by the water. In the distance, there is a view of the pier serving ferries and boats bound for Margarita Island and other islands in the state. Finally, we see the mountain and the buildings located near it—many of which are residential complexes, institutions, and hotels for visitors to this beautiful city.
