Just yesterday, I watched Ne Zha 2 and I was like, "why didn't I watch it before"? It was funny, exciting, but sometimes a little sad. Ne Zha 2 is a fun Chinese animated movie, released in 2025. It is the second part of the Ne Zha movie from 2019. The story continues with the naughty boy, Ne Zha, who has magic powers with a childish heart. But this time, this film has more action, better graphics, and funny moments that make you laugh. It is good for kids and grown-ups who like adventure stories with gods and demons.

The movie starts right where the first one ends. Ne Zha is still a kid with a demon pearl inside him. In the first movie, he fights monsters to show he is not evil, even if everyone thinks so. Now, in Ne Zha 2, a new big problem comes. The heavens and the demon world are in danger because an old bad guy wakes up. His name is Wenzhu, and he wants to destroy everything. Ne Zha must team up with his friends to stop him. His best friend is Ao Bing, the dragon prince. They are like brothers now. There is also Taiyi Zhenren, the funny fat teacher who helps with magic.

The story is easy to follow but has many surprises. Ne Zha learns more about his past and why he has the demon pearl. He finds out about his mom and dad in new ways. His dad is Li Jing, a strong warrior, and his mom is Lady Yin, who loves him a lot. He also finds out that he has two more brothers who become immortal.

The story and graphics in Ne Zha 2 are much better than the first movie. Everything like water, fire, and clouds, looks real. The sense of big mountains, old temples, and magic lands looks so fantastic. It feels like you are in ancient China. The music is good too.

There are many funny parts. Taiyi Zhenren is always eating and saying silly things. He rides a pig that can fly, and it makes funny noises. One scene has them trying to catch a magic fish, and everything goes wrong in a funny way. There are some sad moments too. Ne Zha thinks about losing his friends, and when his hometown was burned, it makes you feel for him. The movie mixes happy and sad well, so you do not get bored.
Ne Zha 2 is better than the first one in many ways. The first movie was new and surprising. This one has more characters and a bigger world, more action and emotion. It keeps the main story but adds more fun. This movie is too long, about two hours, but I did not feel it. Every part has something to see.
This movie is for everyone. If you like superheroes, you will like Ne Zha. If you like funny cartoons, you will like the jokes. If you like stories about growing up, you will like the lessons in it. It makes you cheer for the little hero and his friends. Go watch it with family or friends. You will have a good time and maybe want to see it again.
