Un domingo cualquiera en "Campo Alegre", bajo la sombra de la nigua, los pastores regresan temprano con su rebaño, también vienen por su merecido descanso. Toda la semana deben salir con las bestias a pastar en el campo. Así que, con el permiso de sus animales, este día termina un poco más temprano que el resto.
La nigua siempre fiel con su frondoso follaje regalando una buena sombra, el resto de nosotros esperamos por los trabajadores del campo, escuchamos buena música, algunas bebidas espumosas, conversando entre todos y con el patio de bola listo para comenzar la "juega".
Sigo añorando estos días, en ese instante en particular, estaba a la espera del transporte para regresar a la ciudad. Muy pronto estaré de regreso, espero que esta vez pueda disfrutar de un domingo completo en mi "Campo Alegre" de mis sueños.

On any given Sunday in Campo Alegre, under the shade of the nigua tree, the shepherds return early with their flock, also coming for their well-deserved rest. All week long, they must take the animals out to graze in the fields. So, with their animals' permission, this day ends a little earlier than the rest.
The nigua tree, always faithful with its lush foliage providing good shade, the rest of us wait for the field workers, listening to good music, enjoying some sparkling drinks, chatting among ourselves, and with the ball court ready to start the game.
I still long for those days. At that particular moment, I was waiting for transportation to return to the city. I will be back very soon, and I hope that this time I can enjoy a full Sunday in my dream “Campo Alegre.”
