Good morning fellow warriors,this is day four into the the new season already.My Guild System just made announcement that I got 2,231merits and 23.621 SPS (Splintershards) for those that have SPELLBOOK,in the just concluded Brawl fight.I was so happy about the merits as well as the SPS. Without wasting time I claimed the SPS and staked them back into the system,bringing my total staked SPS to 603.616 😂.Small you would say,I would just keep getting SPS from Modern Ranked and Brawl battles, continually.and in turn restake them.
Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building. Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥
GLADUIS CASE: GROWING MY GLADIATORS
With my recent encounter in the just concluded brawl fights.My interest in upcoming brawl has taken a new turn. So I decided to use my merit to purchase 2 sets of gladuis case.And after going through the guild store to do the purchasing,I finally opened them,this is what I got:

I got one epic gladiator in the first pack,the rest common, while there was two rare and an epic in the second pack. Coincidentally,the two epic card from each pack are the same card, I just merged them to boost it abilities and that is MIRASOL CONTUMA with great stats.
What this simply means,I have to treasure my GLINTS collection as well. Because I can also use my GLINTS to buy merits and in turn purchase gladius case(s).So this is the total number of gladiators I owned at the moment,17 in total out of the 32 gladuis edition cards.I still need 15 other gladiators to complete the full set.
Like I said earlier,there are 32 Gladius Edition cards (from Gladius Cases) and are Soulbound (can't be sold/rented) and designed as powerful "team captains" for Brawls. They can also be used in normal Ranked battles in limited numbers, you are allowed to use one in ruleset like are you not entertained!
Their standout feature(ability) is Bloodlust:
- Every time a Gladiator defeats an opponent (including via passive effects like Thorns, Blast, Poison, Return Fire, etc.), it gains +1 to all initially non-zero stats (Attack, Health, Armor, Speed, etc.).
- This stacks during the battle, making them snowball insanely strong if they survive and keep getting kills.
- It can be dispelled, so watch for enemy magic or specific counters.
Here’s the rarity breakdown for the 32 Gladius Gladiator cards in Splinterlands (all Soulbound with Bloodlust):

In the Epic cards:This is where you would find QUORA TOWERSHEAD,there are just Five in numbers I have one already Marisol Contuma. Quora is one of the most popular among the epic cards praised for her tanky/healing and snowball potential,in short she is one of the strongest.

Earth Epic monster. She's one of the most popular and highly regarded Gladiators in the set.
She has a strong combo of melee + magic damage, Heal ability, and of course Bloodlust. Many players call her one of the best or most useful Gladius cards, especially in higher-mana Brawls where she can tank, heal, and snowball hard with Bloodlust kills.I know i would get her in one of collections someday.
For the Rare cards,they are 10 in numbers; my Captain Katie fall in this category and I have in my collection 7.
Captain Katie(Captain Katy): Life Rare monster.
She's frequently mentioned as a top-tier or must-have Gladiator, particularly strong in lower leagues (Bronze/Silver) and versatile in many rulesets. She has Magic attack with Snipe and Bloodlust, making her excellent for picking off backline targets while ramping up.
Going forward, I will continue to buy Gladius cases, and see if I can get a legendary or even an epic card. Also, know that these cards can be found not just in regular foils but in gold foils as well.
For the common gladiators,out of 10,I have 9 already and I don't have any Legendary gladiator at the moment.There are 7 in total.Let me show you 2 among the 7.Both are legendary gladiators, hoping to get them someday.

This is four days into the new season and this is the end of season glint I have accumulated so far.I hope to hit a target 🎯 of 75,000 GLINT by the end of the season.
