Stacking with Purpose: Building Blurt Reserves for a Decentralized Future

in #alive8 days ago

Regardless of Blurt’s price, I continue to purchase a small amount several times a week through Hive's second-layer chain. It’s loosely my own version of a dollar-cost averaging strategy—though not exactly. The goal isn't to optimize my Blurt holdings for efficiency or staking rewards, but rather to gradually build a personal reserve of liquid Blurt for future use.

As you already know, I have a few ideas in the works for how Blurt can benefit the community. It remains one of the better platforms out there for free speech, and I want to contribute to that vision. The Rosa Community Token is still active, and we’re planning to make some moves sometime after the summer bull run. We still intend to set up a ROSA–SWAP.BLURT liquidity pool, and eventually a SWAP.DOGE–SWAP.BLURT pool as well. But like most of my projects, I want to reach that point naturally, without rushing the process. My vision depends heavily on community support—not necessarily through direct donations, but through continued engagement with my content.

That support, in many ways, acts like a nod from the community—a sign that we're aligned. I'm seeking your backing so that we can work together to make Blurt not only more competitive, but also more accessible to a variety of markets. That’s part of the reason I’m so passionate about the idea of a Blurt second-layer chain, similar to Hive’s (or even better). If the community supports it, and if the proposed Echelon chain (originally planned as a second-layer for Steem) ever launches, I’d be interested in acquiring a “SWAP.BLURT” token on that platform as well.

My thought process is this: by acquiring more Blurt and its equivalents across chains, I could begin integrating it into my local efforts. That might mean creating private bridges for those I personally onboard into the ecosystem, or something more intimate and community-focused. I’ve even considered developing my own private Blurt-based token—one that could be redeemed for Blurt or its wrapped versions. The possibilities are wide open.

Yet, until I flesh out the bigger picture, I've got to proceed with the steps I'm taking. The primary step is to acquire Blurt and SWAP.BLURT and see where it takes the community.
