This has been a long time coming... I've wanted to become a Warriorplus seller for ages... but it always seemed such a daunting step. After years of building my online business, testing funnels, refining my offers, and growing my affiliate reach, I’ve finally crossed an important threshold:
My product offer - monthly membership of the "Evergreen Funnel Club" has been officially accepted by WarriorPlus
That means I’m now a verified WarriorPlus seller - at last!
What Is Warriorplus?
For those of you who don’t know, WarriorPlus is one of the biggest affiliate marketplaces for online marketing tools and digital products. Getting approved as a seller means your product meets certain quality standards, which opens the door to getting your offers in front of thousands of affiliates and buyers.
The Guilty Secret
The news came this afternoon while I was relaxing on my futon enjoying some post-prandial downtime while listening to a Librivox recording of an amusing short story called "The Guilty Secret" by a once world-famous French writer by the name of Charles Paul de Kock - a name to play with, so to speak...
Recumbent upon my futon, I checked my email; and there it was, a message from Warriorplus:
This approval marks a BIG turning point in my online business journey. It was one of my goals during the summer vacation to get approved by Warriorplus, but the process seemed quite daunting and I kept putting off the attempt.
The Struggle To Create A Warriorplus Offer
For one thing, I never managed to find any clear instructions, so I tried to reverse engineer the process by looking at another seller's offer. I made a sales page. I made a payment button. I got stuck. I left it for a few days.
Would I ever get an offer set up? I doubted it.
Then I had another look earlier this week and something clicked. Now I saw a pathway to completion...
Then I ran into another roadblock when I was unable to add a third-party Javascript to my sales page.
More procrastination.
Then I decided to use my Wordpress site as the sales page and succeeded in adding the sales button and disclaimer script. Next, I had to remove all non-Warriorplus payment options before submitting the sales page for approval.
It was rejected - but the reason given was that no alternative payment options should be on the sales page. Since I had already removed them I let Warriorplus know that it was probably a caching issue.
Silence...
Would my offer ever get approved?
Then, while I was listening to de Kock's "The Guilty Secret" I got the email I'd been waiting for!
This is Just the Beginning
Now I know how to create a product offer, I'm going to add some more options before I launch my offer on Warriorplus. The offer that was approved is the monthly recurring membership. Tomorrow, I will create a yearly discount option and add the payment button to the sales page.
I also want to create a big ticket "lifetime membership" option that will cost $777 and come with a 90% commission structure so that my affiliates can earn some big bucks per sale. I'd like to set it up so that only those who buy the lifetime offer can sell it, but I don't know how to set it up yet...
Anyway, that's something to work out tomorrow or later this week...
For now, I'm simply super stoked to have had my first offer APPROVED by Warriorplus... It could be a big step towards becoming a full blown "digital nomad"!
Onwards and upwards!
Cheers!
