In 2001, some very interesting crop circles appeared near the radio telescope in Chilbolton.

On August 14, 2001, a portrait of a humanoid appeared. On August 20, a pictogram appeared very close by, a response to the message from earthlings from Arecibo in 1974. The first drawing is 50 by 55 meters. I think it would be difficult for people to make such drawings at night, with a repeat drawing 6 days later on the same field. For 24 years, no one has taken responsibility for creating these drawings. This is also an interesting fact, because such drawings had to be made by a group of people and probably filmed their work on video.
A year before these drawings, on August 8, 2000, there was such a drawing in this same place. As it later became known from the 2001 pictogram, this is a drawing of a means of communication. In the pictogram of the response to the Arecibo message, this drawing was left in place of the drawing of our radio telescope. Probably, this is some kind of device that allows you to leave an image instantly, the message does not need to go tens of light years in space. Perhaps this device allows you to send a quick message using laws of physics that are still unknown to us. Perhaps this is a message through another dimension.

Let's go back to the first two pictures on the field. In 2001, a SETI representative said that this was not a message from aliens, since it would be more convenient for them to use radio waves (like in our radio telescopes) to respond. I think this is a stupid statement.
In 2002, a couple of miles from this place, 2 more drawings appeared. For 3 years, either another intelligence (civilization) was trying to answer us, or these were jokers. If these were joke lovers and none of them let it slip for 24 years, I think it is unlikely. Also, all these drawings have a thermal energy effect closer to the roots of plants, which experts indicate as an authenticity of the drawings (drawings made by people always have broken stalks of wheat).
I think that our civilization still has many discoveries of the laws of our Universe ahead. And we will fly to other star systems not on huge starships, hundreds and thousands of years in one direction. But on small round saucers and very quickly :)
Well, for now, astrophysicists and radio astronomers do not notice any messages and persistently search the starry sky for at least some radio signal from a civilization similar to ours. But unfortunately, there are too few civilizations of our level of development in the Galaxy and they are probably very far from us. But higher level civilizations should be quite common, because there are quite a few star systems older than our solar system. There are many stars older than our sun by billions of years. Think how far the evolution of life could have gone there.
