Yeah, same here, I always have at least a few terminals open, but if possible, I like to use them in a nice and fancy UI :-)

Ditto that, exactly, a terminal (with transparency) with multiple tabs open, in a sweet UI! Tell me about it, I still can't even believe how it happened! Most laptops are crap, which is why it takes me so long to find a truly good one, and then this one just pops up in the middle of the jungle, and it's bloody perfect! Oh!!! Transparancy of terminal windows is almost non-negotiable!!!
I do say almost, as I am now using a Terminal app that syncs with my iPhone, so I can admin the servers "on-the-go" if needed. However... no matter how dramatical that is... it has no transparancy option...
