I didn't blog about my weekend away last night because in my heart I wasn't feeling it.
I wanted to get the word out there that there are still lots of people that need our help.
@Bradleyarrow and I can't fund it ourselves, if we could, we would!
I am not the kind of person to ask for help, I am a giver.
The BBH foundation is dear to our hearts.
Please, help us to help others.
Fast forward to my weekend!
I was invited to a 40th wedding Anniversary party!
It was in a town called Port aux Basques.
A 3 hour drive from Deer Lake.
I had to go to Deer lake to pick up an ex client, it was her sisters Anniversary party.
So, I worked on Friday, got off around 3pm, drove home, packed my bag, then off to Deer Lake to pick up Thelma.
We checked in to the air b&b.
Changed our clothes and off we went to the party.
Here are a couple pictures of the b&b.

There were around 78 guest attending.
They had a cold plate pot luck.
You picked up your own meal.
Then out came the desserts, tons of cookies and a beautiful cake.
Afterwards, there was a dance, byob, bring your own booze!
I sipped on a small bottle of wine.
I had a few dances, got back to the b&b around 1:30am. LOL
There are only 2 ways to get of our island that we live on.
We are completely surrounded by water.
By plane, there are 4 airports, St. John's {the capital city of NL}, Gander, Deer Lake, and Stephenville.
The other way is by ferry, yes you read that right, ferry.
The ferry terminal in located in Port aux Basques!
You check in, wait your turn to drive onto the ferry, go find somewhere to sit or you can rent a cabin.
There are 4 primary vessels, Atlantic Vision, Blue Puttees, Highlanders and the Leif Ericson which is mainly used to ship cargo.
It takes roughly 6 to 8 hours to get to North Sydney-Nova Scotia, and vice versa.
There are cabins to rent, restaurants, a gift shop, and lounges.
That is how we get everything we need to survive.
I went to a local grocery store yesterday, there were signs posted everywhere, Short on supplies due to the ferry not sailing.
There were REALLY high winds for a couple of days out in the Atlantic Ocean which connects to the Golf of St. Lawrence.
We are surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean
High winds, no sailing!

This vessel is the Blue Puttees.
It was docked for 2 days.

This is the ferry terminal.
I love it by the ocean, the smell of the sea is Heavenly!
I had a lovely weekend!
Please don't forget to support the BBH Project!
Well, it's time to go.
Good night, God Bless!🙏
Life is good!💖
