The connections and community you've built around you are still here and that's not something the hackers can take away from you.

At first (in my weakness) I had this irrational fear that the community would abandon me and not bother engaging with me on my alt-account. But once I got my head back on straight I came to reality: this community is way too awesome to do such a thing. And here we are!
