Yes, sadly that species didn't fare well, though there are some strains that are resistant. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your elm, my friend. It's great that you're getting firewood from it, though. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

This was supposed to be one of those strains. We contacted the seller "Liberty Elm Institute", but we couldn't save the tree. !BBH
