Paying My Bills with Fastest Approved Virtual Crypto Debit Card

in #aseanhive5 days ago

I have been bumped out....

I have totally forgotten / overlooked that Binance has stopped its P2P activity for Malaysia as regulations continues to cramp down, no thanks to bad actors like scammers who has been really causing havoc in Malaysia, swindling many homemakers with "crypto investments" of sorts.

I would have thought they have lessen since the cyber crime unit told me that they have managed to tracked down one of the "runners" (bank accounts that is the mule for money transfers), but seems that they have double-down with even fake AI politician announcements (that almost tricked my older relatives)

I have to digress on this.... because it has caused a lot of problem for me to pay bills...

Good thing our #teammalaysia big brother has a suggestion which I am going to try it now...

The alternate "Payment System"

Bypassing Peer-2-Peer exchange

  • With less than 5 minutes approval
  • And less than 2 minutes crypto transfer (from exchanges)
  • Moreover less than 1 minute Virtual Debit Card activation.

(Unfortunately it costs $10 when I have the Card activated, which usually locally, especially for BigPay it is free, however not usable for crypto)

There is a referral rewards system, but I am not certain how it works if according to our big brother and founder, seems there is hardly any fee charged.

No matter how it is, gotta try to at least pay one bill to make sure it works!

What better to try in smaller amounts than to pay a utility bill?

I have been paying off little by little in smaller batches whenever I get some incoming, also to fulfill my eligibility to earn extra % for my interest for my savings
(But that's for another post and another day)

Unfortunately, due to certain local authority restrictions, this was not able to be paid, so I had to use another platform... a "bridge" that acts like the "middle man" to help pay the bills

Good thing that Shopee, a foreign company originated from Singapore actually allows an "oversea" virtual debit card to work!

And to top the excitement, when I signed up under the big bro's referral, I got a $5 start up bonus (which I don't know when this promotion will end, so quickly grab it while it is still active!)

Sorry for shilling this so much because I want all my #teammalaysia fam who really need an extra helping hand for utility bills and now stuck from crypto to fiat (especially via Binance) to quickly take the opportunity to take hold on this window before it closes

Especially @nazirullsafry am sure he will appreciate this if he uses ShopeePay regularly.

But how much is the fee??

I think after calculated the deduction, which is $2.85, the fee is around 20cents, which is not cheap because it is such a small amount; but perhaps it is a standard fee of a certain amount and I can try to settle a $300 bill if I can dig out enough "crypto ash" to settle it.

What about you?

Would you try it out to pay your bills with crypto?

Until Then

Wow! I didn't really know there's such service around. I thought this was a thing back in 2020 something hehe

Actually at the time to get this going was a lot harder in 2020, plus I believe at the time the minimal fees were higher.
So far, this one has the latest authorising security features so it is quite good. Big brother said this is actually founded from a Hong Kong company.

Oh wow, this I call it as the favour if the LORD! Amen! Every penny counts indeed!

Great positivity

Amen to that! Hopefully I will have enough cash in the future to replenish all the liquidity DCA again.

This is an interesting cutting-off-the-middle-man bridge you found from your big brother teammalaysia. It is even more fascinating that the electric bill platform doesn't approve a Visa backed foreign debit card. How would longer stay digital nomads settle utility bills? Perhaps this should not occur to foreigners.

In some ways you are right about replacing the middleman human with a 24/7 workable system.

I think most digital nomads do not need to worry because their landlord would have covered that if they are on AirBNB, and long stays would have used local facilities like TNG

Congratulations. So it is possible to withdraw easily?
Does the wallet have this token?

Unfortunate it only accepts mainstream crypto. So there is still a need to sell of to USDT for easier transaction
