It's true, and I haven't used range frogs in a while. A durable an lethal tank in front, and two powerful magic frogs in back, tends to work very well indeed. πππβ¨π€

While I would readily combine two Legendary Golden Xylon melee frogs of the same level where I prioritize increasing Health (where Speed is second to that), I have to think carefully about combining whenever I get another Legendary Golden Zander the magic frog. π€πͺπΈ
I should always have at least two of them at any given time, because I always put those two magic frogs at the middle and back slots !INDEED. π€πΈπͺ
