Delicious black beans with smoked pork chop/eng-spn

Greetings, @HiveFood Community. I'm @rosahermosa and I'm new to this Hive food community. I've already read the rules and hope to make a good post. I'm not an expert at talking about how to prepare food, but I am an expert at cooking. You can say anything about me except that I don't know how to cook. I have a good taste in food, and I inherited that from my mom, and my daughters inherited from me the great art of seasoning food. Although my oldest daughter doesn't know how to cook, my other two daughters are experts.

This is my first post here in the community, and I want to tell you about my experience today.

My grandchildren asked me to cook them some delicious black beans. They told me that their mother, who is my daughter, had already bought the beans, the seasonings, the condiments, and had a smoked pork chop to give a richer touch to the beans we would cook.

Black beans in my country, Venezuela, are a typical dish that the vast majority of Venezuelans love. We can serve them with rice or spaghetti, slices of meat, and shredded meat. Some people like to add sugar and others mayonnaise. We don't like it with either sugar or mayonnaise.

To prepare it, the first thing I did was chop the seasonings.

  • onion
  • sweet pepper
  • paprika
  • garlic
  • cilantro
  • scallions

I added a pork chop. smoked

I started chopping the seasonings, peeling the garlic to crush it, and placing it in the pan to sauté.

Then I chopped the smoked chop, which would give it a special touch. #

I crushed the garlic well. It's good to add salt to the garlic to crush it well and prevent it from exploding.

I start by combining the chopped seasonings, the crushed garlic, the pieces of pork chop, adding spices (cumin, adobo seasoning, garlic paste, and a touch of Worcestershire sauce), and sautéing them.

Once the seasonings are ready, combine them with the black beans, previously softened with salt and a sprig of cilantro. Place them in the pressure cooker for 20 minutes, and you'll have some delicious black beans with smoked pork chops.
Make white rice, and of course, add some delicious fried slices.

De mí podrán decir cualquier cosa menos que no sé cocinar. Tengo una buena sazón y eso lo heredé de mi mamá y mis hijas heredaron de mi ese gran arte que es darle un buen sazón a la comida, aunque mi hija mayor no sabe cocinar mis otras dos hijas son expertas.

Esta es mi primera publicación aquí en la comunidad y quiero hablarles de mi experiencia el día de hoy.

Mis nietos me pidieron que les fuera a cocinar unas ricas caraotas, me dijeron que su mamá, la cual es mi hija, ya había comprado las caraotas, los aliños, los condimentos y tenían una chuleta ahumada para darle un toque más rico a los granos que cocinaríamos.

Las caraotas negras en mis país Venezuela es un plato típico que a la gran mayoría de los venezolanos nos encanta. Podemos acompañarlas con arroz o espaguetis, tajadas y carne para desmechar, algunos les gusta agregarle azúcar y a otros mayonesa. Nosotros no nos gusta ni con azúcar ni con mayonesa.

Para prepararla lo primero que hice fue picar los aliños

  • cebolla
  • ají dulce
  • pimentón
  • ajo
  • cilantro
  • cebollín

Le agregué una chuleta ahumada

Me dispuse a picar los aliños, pelé los ajos para machacarlos y colocarlos a sofreír

Posteriormente piqué la chuleta ahumada la cual le daría un toque especial.

Machaqué bien los ajos, es bueno agregarle sal a los ajos para machacarlos bien y no salten por los aires.

Empiezo a juntar los aliños picados, el ajo machucado, los trocitos de chuleta, le agrego especies(comino, adobo, sazonador, ajo líquido y un toque de salsa inglesa) y se sofríen.

Una vez listo los aliños bien sazonados los junto con las caraotas previamente ablandadas con sal y una ramita de cilantro. Se montan en la olla de presión por 20 minutos y tendremos unas ricas caraotas con chuleta ahumada.
Hacemos un arroz blanco y no puede faltar unas ricas tajaditas fritas.

Así quedaron mis ricas caraotas negras, listas para comer.

Oh, wow! I'm salivating here. I love black beans, and the combination sounds amazing. We have a similar dish in Jamaica that's called Stew Peas. It's red kidney beans with corned pork and pig's tail. It's so delicious, and topping it with plantains is ace 😋
