For the first 15+ years of my life, I would have been a regular church goer, Roman Catholic. I actually started as French Roman Catholic up to the point in my life where I learned much about hate and prejudice. I was white but apparently not the right kind of white.
By the time I decided to plan for a family, I understood unconditional love so getting married to a Scottish Protestant was irrelevant. Now I did get an ok from my local representative of the Vatican and thus continued to evolve my Christian belief system. Over the years, I have learned much about various versions and interpretations of the "Christian Bible". In fact, I made a point to learn about many religious beliefs from all over the world and I continue to grow my understanding of First Nation People. The Acadian people were part of creating a unique relationship with First Nation People for 100+ years before they were deported via a British led genocidal process.
Some may have read, and/or know me, that I see myself as 100% spiritual and not religious. I cope with PTSD, depression and chronic pain. I have had more than one NDE and I have saved more than one life. Being mindful and in spirit of God, I live by core values that have nothing to do with following a religion.
So, when I decided to take a more active role in our Hive community, I had to come up with a master plan to address and connect my vast interest in the world. I decided to publish my FJism Principles and Beliefs so I could review them whenever I saw something that is beyond acceptance by any caring person.
