Some days are full of wonders both from creation and humans. Our workshop was scheduled to be last Sunday of April by my leaders and I went into preparation for the day, I did a lot marketing inviting people for the workshop. In fact I thought my venue will be filled up with guest base on the work I put in and promise received.
I had some registration and helping newbies to make their post preparing them for the workshop. Few days before the event, one online fake platform some of them invested their hard earned money crashed. Those who were close to me, I told them those things are rob peter pay Paul but they didn't listen because of high percent they promised to pay them but when it crashed, they vow not to do things like that again.
a day before our spendhbd workshop, I called many of them to remind them and some said I will come. Some even send money to buy hive to power up so that they will have enough resource to write. It was really good to know that people are looking for better opportunities despite disappointment. On the workshop day, some members came on time even one of my guest came on time too. While we were waiting for others to come, weather changed.
I was like why now but can't question God because he knows the best time for the rain 🌧️ ☔. It was so heavy that anyone who is in his house won't think of going out again, but that didn't stop our goal that day. It was really impacting and successful at the same time.
I and @ogechukwu-matter who is always an early bird in all our seminars and workshop. She was so excited that she came on time when the rain started. She took some pictures with our workshop tools and was ready to do more.
During the Workshop, I explained in the detail why we must buy with HBD. Some registered Hivers are not shopping with hbd as they suppose to do. Imagine someone who is shopping every day with naira when the the person is a giver, it doesn't make sense at all. I did some calculations on how much I spend each and showed them the 20% of it in hbd reward. Many of them was like, chai, we have been loosing a lot.
I told them that, if they understand the spendhbd project as I do, they won't shop with naira again. All their goal will be for everyone to shop with hbd, to recruit more people to hive and assist them to shop and write on Hive.
Question time
I gave opportunity for questions, so that there will be more clarity on areas one do not understand. One of the question was, how many post can one make in a day on hive?, how do I follow others and engage on their post?, do I need a personal mentor to understand hive better?. I gave answer to all this questions and they felt satisfied. At the end, I ask my audience if they really got value for their time. The response showed that,they were happy to attend.
My goal
In this busy world, everyone is busy with work and a lot of activities, I will continue to do workshop and trainings regularly. People find it difficult to write or stay on hive the way we want them to stay. Many want quick money even when they are loosing so much, some give a lot excuses why didn't write or shop with hbd. To keep them motivated, regular training and workshop is required.
Lastly, those who are ready to do more, I will keep on working with them. Growth is inevitable, I know as long as I am active and teaching them, those who will take it up like me will do so soon and then continue to teach others.
