It is a beautiful Sunday morning here, Last night we had rain that made everywhere cool and enjoying, hope you are enjoying cool weather over there too.
It is our routine to run weekly workshop so that new people will continue to learn about hive. Last Sunday, we had training for newbies but this Sunday it is a workshop. I prepared an invite banner for the workshop.
I designed it using chatgpt app. Although network was bad when I did it but it still came out beautiful. This will help everyone to have soft copy for more invite using web3 or one on one message.
Things to learn
- What is Hive blockchain/web3
- What is distriator app, and how to use it.
- Who can join hive and why?
- How to support spendhbd project and other projects on hive etc.
I have assigned my leaders on topic to prepare so that it will be a successful workshop since I'm not in Uyo right now. I made it clear to the team last Sunday that the workshop will hold. I am training them to do what I'm doing even when I'm not there and I have been communicating with them each day through our Whatsapp group and private chat.
Why is this important
People in general have their way of life and how they run their business. How they shop daily and the kind of business they understand. Now, we are teaching them something new, many of them don't even have good phone to access Hive or hive keychain. You won't know until they accept to sign up on Hive. Helping a business man who have been accepting naira to accept HBD takes a lot time, effort so regular training and workshop is needed to train more people to go to the field.
I had experience on a woman after accepting that her business should be listed. I told her that, I will get some pictures of her goods and the business logo for the registration, she changed immediately and said, if it is to snap my shop, that one ,I won't accept. It took me time again to take her to distriator app, showed her listed businesses and showed her transactions and how it is done. She asked me to come back. You can see that , Hive and spendhbd workshop is not what one will do once and stop.
If it is not regular, people interest will grow cold. In that case, since we in Uyo are out to promote Hive, workshop is the vehicle to drive it. We invite everyone to join un today by 4pm for the workshop and contribute to the success of it. There will be group shopping at judelel supermarket after workshop. As usual, the first 5 guest will receive HBD from me for their first shopping using distriator app. We grow by helping others.
