My name is Isaiah Etim Atainyang, a soon to be graduate from the Department of Agricultural Education, faculty of vocational Education, Library and Information Science, University of Uyo, Uyo.
In 2022, during the long Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) strike in Nigeria, I seized the opportunity to embark on a journey. I enrolled myself in a Computer operation center where I learnt graphics design and skills in Microsoft word, Microsoft excel and power point. It was a 6 Month training and I'm grateful I didn't get waisted with my time since the strike lasted for a period of 8 months.
After I finished my graphics design training, I got certified as a professional graphics designer, it was a memorable moment for me. I reflected on the challenges I faced during my enrollment, cause as a student who had just little support from parent, it wasn't easy for me to pay my training fees but nevertheless, God made a way and the moment I got my certificate as a graphics designer, I felt a bit accomplished because I have sailed through irrespective of the setbacks I faced.
After I got my certificate from Abas Technology, I started advertising myself and my skills online using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp. In no time, I started getting calls from many people requesting me to do one design or the other for them. There's really real happiness once you are good at what you do. After my first 5 designs for 5 different people, they refered me to others and before I could realize, I started having many clients calling for some designs and I had the pleasure to handle it for them.
In 2023, I decided to do something different, I joined the WEB3 platform called NODO. NODO was used in doing simple tasks like daily tasks, quizzes, surveys, upvoting to climb the weekly leaderboard and campaigns. In the space of one year, nodo.xyz has evolved from using for simple tasks to prediction market where users involved in predicting the stabilization of coins like Bitcoin, Solena, etherum, doggy, avax, hype, pie, etc., using information from the coin market cap to make their prediction. After a successful prediction using polygon USDT, each users got thier Cashback along side with USDT guaranteed prices. Apart from the guaranteed prices, users were also given XP shares and Gems which both will be used as $NODO tokens after launch this year.
As at last year, I applied for the Ambassadorship position at NODO and I got hired as a level one Ambassador and was placed on $150 every month as a level one Ambassador. It was a nice experience I will not forget because the payment I received every month went a long way in supporting my undergraduate tuition fee and lots more.
Since we live in a dynamic and digital world, I'm always looking forward to opportunities to explore more things and fortunately in a matter of two weeks ago, I had the opportunity of meeting a good friend after many months and it happened that he told me about Hive blog. At first, I was doubting the possibility of the potentials he told me about the blog but then, he decided to proof me wrong by showing me evidence from his cell phone. Immediately he showed me how it works from his cell phone, I decided to give it a try. I called and texted him day in day out so he can help me with the registration processes. Finally, I got to meet him again and he guided me through with the registration processes.
I am here to stay and to make exploration of the Hive blog leaving no opportunity behind. I am more than happy and ready to begin this Hive Journey.
