Hello everyone!
In preparation for the Hive/SpendHBD Workshop slated to hold in Akure this Friday 20/06/25, just as we have been anticipating the arrival of @ijelady. She finally arrived Akure at about 8: pm. We were so excited to have her in our midst. We were so excited and grateful to God for the safe trip she had down to Akure. We received our T-shirts and caps @ojac and I. Upon receiving them we had a group photograph with her and the gift items she came along with.
As we had earlier planned to go on air today being 19/06/25 for the broadcast but it didn't work out as planed. The reason being that the broadcasting station we choosed which happened to be the most listened to in the city told us that there's no booking space for us that day. That we have to choose Monday or any other days next week for the broadcast. We have to accept that in other not to defeat the purpose for which we decided to go on air being that it is the biggest and most popular radio station in the town. But we still decided to do some prospecting around the area for invite and business listing in other to maximize the day.
So, we visited the first business owner, explained to her what Hive and SpendHBD are. She developed interest and accepted to join and accept HBD as a means of payment in her shop. It is interesting to have the first shop to earn store in Akure -MUMMY NIKE MINI MART.
We snapped some photogras with her and her shop.
We went to the second person who sells food stuff but she could not give us audience due to the fact that a lot of customers were in her shop then and could not attend to us. But we will visit her hopefully in the morning before the workshop kickstart. That's all for today.
