I too am saddened by what is happening in our country with the elderly. It gives me sadness and indignation.
As in yours, in my family the care and respect for the elderly was always present but in today's society that has been lost. The elderly have been condemned to live an old age of deprivation and loneliness, it is very sad.

        It is a subject that should be given more importance in the education of young people. Each older person keeps a treasure of wisdom and that could be of much benefit to those who come behind.
