RE: High school years | MEMOIR MONDAY (WEEK 44)

Changing schools three times must have been very difficult @irvinc! A teacher can make or break a child; my maths marks dropped in the last two years of school not only because I started having more fun but also because of a new teacher who was a grumpy old man! I'm sure you're a well-loved teacher, just like the teacher who ran the chess club. It's awful how political turmoil changed the future of many, thankfully you enjoy teaching.
PS I also finished school in 1971 ;) Nice response @irvinc

I had a sad time with those moves, the friends I kept were those of the fourth and fifth years, with the others I lost all contact.
Being a teacher is a great responsibility. As you say, you can do a lot of harm to your students. My physics teacher was terrible.
What a coincidence that we have the same graduation year. Those things always seem half mysterious to me and give me joy.
Thanks so much for stopping by and for the support dear @lizelle . A big hug from Maracay.
