Oh, it was such a treat picking up the newspaper on our driveway, or in the postbox on rainy days! The smell and the feel of the newsprint as well! How I miss the morning and Sunday newspapers! Everything stopped with Covid. They're publishing them again, but I've not subscribed.
I also love the smell of fresh herbs!

        I'm glad you liked the post.
        On Sundays, I would buy all the national and regional newspapers and spend the whole day reading them in my living room. Those days were great.
