Dear friend @irvinc, I also had female teachers and then male teachers who were my favorites. My first grade teacher I met years later when my husband took me to formally meet his family. I was his close neighbor. and my teacher Maria remembered me as on the hour. She passed away three years ago but with a clear mind and called me Beckyta. As for teachers, my high school Biology teacher helped us as teenagers to move forward.
