RE: Retire Now, Retire Here, Retire Later

Always happy to see you posting on HIVE... Not happy to hear you're struggling, but we have to keep the spirits high!
Regarding retirement, I suppose that when people come in "our age", we are fed up enough with our jobs and think about the "escape route"... I'm too far away from thinking about it, but I suppose that as we get closer and closer, the temptation rises...
I remember when my dad was 3 years away from retirement, as a family, we decided together to "push him" over the edge, covered the costs (social security) for those 3 years, and paid them together...

I hope you will persevere through the difficult times and find calmer waters... The world is in a crazy state recently... Take care, my friend!

Well generally life is not too shaken just the work one. Another possible U.S. government shutdown, the clock starts sometime tomorrow if it happens. The good is I'm a lot more prepared for this one. Its meant working some extra hours ahead of it. A good reason why my activity as lessened here is because I have been working a lot.

Retirement is another avenue one can take when they may become fed up with thier job. I try to hold my thoughts and ground to make the best decision for me rather than make one in spite of something.
