Greetings dear Hiveans !! Happy to be here with another memory, a way to refresh ourselves with good old memories. Do visit #memoirmonday hosted by @ericvancewalton for further details. Here is the link

Very often some teachers become our favorite in no time. Just one quality is enough to make them pur favorite. May be a pleasing smile or a pleasing look or an attention towards us, can make them our favourite teaxher. Quality means something that pleases us. The very presence of some subject teachers, makes that particular subject our favorite.

I was an average student till my higher secondary. Not much interested in studies, so I didn't like any teachers. The one subject I liked was English . I was an introvert. So kept myself aloof. But once I completed my higher education and admitted to secondary level, I took Commerce stream. I loved all the subjects here, so, subsequently I loved all the teachers. But then here also my favourite subject was English and to be frank , I loved Ms. Christabell to a great extent. Infact, I got more interested in this particular subject after my secondary schooling.

She enters our class with a wave of smiles. Her presence itself makes the day positive for us. She was one among us. The way of her teaching, individual attention to whosoever needs, her smile, her body language, mannerism, etc. are still fresh in my memory after a gap of nearly 35 years.

I can never forget our farewell party - A day where we step down from our school life. Though the farewell was enjoyed by each and everyone, at the time of bidding goodbye a monotonous atmosphere formed. Here, I can never say she was only favourite because the entire class wept, when she spoke. That was she.
.
Some teachers usually like students who is good in academics and extra curricular activities. That's an easy approach. And some students to get the attention of their favourite teacher do what not.

With less ease and no pain our batch of '87 had the best teachers. In a time period of 3 momths, our school is hosting a golden jubilee celebration with our teachers. If we are lucky, we will be meeting them again in our secondary classroom.

A teacher who identifies the weakess and strength of a student , becomes favorite teacher.

For this short n sweet memory my sincere thanks to @ericvancewalton

Thanks

You describe that teacher so beautifully that it doesn't surprise me that you still remember her, she must have been special.

Thanks Mam. Yes for sure she was special. She never scolded anybody for their mistakes instead gave advice individually.

Hello @shamis Amiga it is true that when we were little we paid a lot of attention to the teachers, it is logical because it was the one we had in front of us in class. We would detail him from head to toe. Sometimes to entertain us and sometimes to find the points in common with us. It was also fun, I think all students do that. I had a lot of respect for them and always felt admiration for their work in teaching me. Today when I meet any of them I feel great joy and sadness knowing they are gone. Nice initiative. I take this opportunity to greet you.🤗🥰

Greetings Sir. Yes, it was really a wonderful time with teachers in those times. Those days teachers were more respected than today. Because today they are more like friends. Even I too miss those teachers who are no more with us. Thankyou for your visit.🙏

You have portrayed that teacher so beautifully that it’s natural for you to still admire her.

Yes its true
