Colours reminds us of different tales at different intervals of time. When it comes to colour I like almost all colours while adapting to any situation. Most of all I like blue, both, sky blue & the Indian Navy Blue. But the colour that I was most interrupted was white. White - why because this colour earned me name, fame & respect.
Working as a librarian for 15 years in an International School not only lasted memories but also respect. Something which we all crave for, in some part of our life. And here comes the white colour. The uniform of our teachers were white coat over any casual wear, probably coloured tops with black pants or black long skirts.
This white coat earned us immense respect among parents, teachers and above all our dear students. Just that we wore a white coat, we were given immense respect in the parent - teacher meeting. It doesn't end with this. On sports day, Inter school Annual meet and in several exhibition, we were given prine importance, just because of this white coat.
There were moments during the Inter School Annual Sports meet, when we were assigned duties and later sat together for any kind of discussions. As there was a co-ordination in our uniform, which was highlighted, the children dared to maintain discipline, when they spotted us amongst the crowd. Even without saying a word, the respect was highlighted.
At one point of time, I was in love with blue colour. This reminds me of my beautiful school days. When most schools around our place carried a khaki colour for uniform, we were the ones with Navy blue colour. That was pride for us then, as we were distinct and ahead of them.
So each colour definitely has a tale to tell. May be many of you here would definitely have a tale of the colour that influenced them. So, let's hear each tale.
