Greetings Hiveans .... Hope you all are having good days ahead. Anything that brightens our day, make us happy. Be it small or big. So here is a contest, where you are given a chance to highlight your small happiness
What's one small, simple joy that consistently brightens your day, and why does it bring you happiness ?l
Any small thing that we do to our best giving an immense result, makes us happy. Perhaps family time also counts and is the best. To be honest, when my family is at home Iam kept busy from morning until night. But, for now, two of my older children are busy with their job in the neighbouring district. They make a visit either once a month or once in 2 months. And my younger one who is perhaps with me, is busy with his post graduate studies. He leaves home ny 7a.m. is back by 6 p.m. which meant, only me and my husband at home having not much to talk.
My husband and children are the one who gave the birds and cats too much freedom, giving them what they require. They never knew I would get attached to them so soon, as I always ignored them due to my busy schedule.
The above pictures are of Oriental Magpie - Robin
The above two birds are Roufous Treepies
But now to keep myself happy and occupied, I started feeding them on regular basis, who eventually are my uninvited guest at present. Initially started with a single bird, now I have variety of them. They drop in whenever they fèel hungry. The moments I spent with them are the most happy moments.
I communicate with them in my local language regularly, before feeding them . They inturn listen to me patiently for sometime but then start to chirp, giving me a hint, for the so called krackjack biscuits. I know its the hunger that bring them to us. Ans so I have the opportunity to spend sometime with them.
Usually, it comes as a wake up call for me. My day starts at 5.30 a.m and sharp 6.30 a.m. one by one take turns to sit on top of my kitchen window. But if Iam late to open the window, they peep in through the glass and to make sure, someone is around in the kitchen area, so that their hunger is solved. If they find no one around some of them sit on the ground while some tend to sit on nearby branches.
This was my first cat
I lost my first cat to a stray dog. It was naughty but understood me well. It used to never trouble me when I was sick. Its loss is really a huge loss for uus. After that too many came in and went. But now I have another one, who always need to eat. Infacr a happy little one who keeps itself occupied with a rope or a ball or a broom stick etc.
The above pictures of various birds and cats are taken here from my Samsung Galaxy mobile A50. The photos were being captured from the time they are visoiting our home at different times.
