Greetings dear Hiveans and members of #Silverbloggers community ❤️. Wishing the team a great potential year with great prompts, yet to come.
So for this week's enthusiastic prompt click here - Your favourite person while growing up.
Right from childhood, we grew up among friends rather than relatives. The reason being we had to shift from our native to another state, on account of my Dad's job. This was the case among the neighbourhood families, who had to leave their state for good inorder to continue with the job.

The beauty of my place after 25 years*
Life was too beautiful, with understanding neighbourhood. Here, all were happy enough to lend a helping hand for those in need, irrespective of caste and creed. Any complex situations was easily sought out, with such friendly neighbourhood.

One such friendly person whom we were so close was the Mathew & family. A few years youngers to my mother, Mrs. Mathew was very close to us, including the family. We were probably caressed by her, right from Kindergaprten. A friendly and helpful neighbourhood. Infact, we were part of one single family.
As they were blessed with two sons, Mrs. Mathew assumed us (me & my little sister) to be her daughters. The school where we studied carried strict rules regarding timing and uniform. For instance, then I had a long hair, which meant it should be plaited and then tied with red ribbon. This was part of the uniform. Sometimes Mom gets busy packing our lunch box and so, we had to wait for her hands to get free . And imagine what ? The Aunt peeps in and gets it done within minutes, so that we are on time before bell.
Very often, she attends weekly prayers with her friends, after which she drops into our home for lunch. Whenever, my mother was sick she drops in and makes sure we had something to eat. That was her love.
A very cheerful face, enlightening us with stories and realities of life. Her very presence made us happy. If they had any personal issues related to finance or family, they never hesitated to discuss it with my father, for an apt solution.
When my marriage was finalized in my native state, she came all the way with her family to bless me. So was her love. After Dad's retirement my family decided to return to native while they stayed back in the same place.

As mentioned in most of my articles, I left the country immediately, for good, after my marriage. Now that Iam back I revisited the state after 25 years where I was educated. Though I went to the place where the neighbors were more like a family, I could only find new face ie., strangers.

My dear Aunt & Uncle meeting after 25 years
But my hunt for my favorite Aunt never failed. Both of us were much excited to see eachother. She hugged me and kissed me. As age goes, naturally our strength and looks also change. She has grown old and was going through several ailments. As her sons are grown up and settled with their families abroad, she and her husband has decided to stay there. Meeting her was beautiful memory.
Some people leave some imprints in our heart, which forces us to look back into their lives, even as every year pass by. I am happy to be one among them.
This is just a short memory about her. All these photoes were captured when I made a 3 day visit to my hometown, once upon a time.
Thankyou friends for your time and patience. Wishing you all a great day and a beautiful week ahead.
