This week's birdwatching featured the usual classics [Esp/Eng].

Siempre feliz de regresar a este genial ¨Feathered FriendsCommunity¨: para acompañar a nuestra amiga @nelinoeva en su maravilloso ¨Show-Me-A-Photo-Contest¨:  Después de la genial idea de la semana pasada, donde tuvimos que compartir casitas de aves, regresamos a la consigna libre, es decir, que podemos participar del concurso con cualquier toma de ave. Que te diviertas mucho.

Always happy to return to this great ¨Feathered FriendsCommunity¨:to join our friend @nelinoeva in her wonderful ¨Show-Me-A-Photo-Contest¨: After last week's brilliant idea, where we had to share photos of birdhouses, we're back to an open theme, meaning you can participate in the contest with any bird photo. Have lots of fun!

Nosotros también nos estamos divirtiendo mucho durante nuestras tardes de avistamientos. Las aves poco a poco se están animando a bajar a la hierba del jardín para alimentarse. Hemos hecho algunas filmaciones y fotografías, pero esas tomas se las voy a enseñar más adelante, ya que las tomas que comparto hoy las hicimos mientras las aves están en las copas de los árboles. Esta semana volvimos a ver a esas ¨especies¨ :  que por su presencia las llamamos clásicos, y sin dudas este bello ejemplar es un clásico en gran parte del mundo, dado que en la mayoría se los conoce.

We're also having a lot of fun during our birdwatching afternoons. The birds are gradually becoming more comfortable coming down to the grass in the garden to feed. We've taken some videos and photos, but I'll show you those later, since the ones I'm sharing today were taken while the birds were in the treetops. This week we saw again those ¨species¨ :  that we call classics because of their presence, and without a doubt this beautiful specimen is a classic in much of the world, since it is known in most places.

Otro hermoso ¨ejemplar¨:  que por ser habitué podemos definirlo como clásico; son esta especie, estas aves nos visitan varias veces al día, y de las especies de este género, estas son las más conocidas. Son aves que tienen mucha personalidad, un hermoso trinar y cambian según la especie. Son aves madrugadoras que nos despiertan cada mañana con su fuerte cantar, que hace que uno comience el día con mucha energía.

Another beautiful ¨exemplar¨:  that because it is common we can define it as classic; These birds, of this species, visit us several times a day, and of the species in this genus, these are the best known. They are birds with strong personalities, beautiful songs that vary depending on the species. They are early risers that wake us up every morning with their loud calls, giving us a great start to the day.

De las tres especies de ¨aves¨:  que vimos en el avistamiento de esta semana: estas son las más tranquilas, si bien también poseen un canto como las especies anteriores, ellas acostumbran a cantar en el horario de la siesta, sobre todo si en el jardín hace calor. Mis abuelos solían asegurar que estas aves cantaban para anunciar cuándo vendrían días de temperaturas muy altas.

Of the three species of birds that we saw this week: these are the calmest, although they also have a song like The aforementioned species tend to sing during siesta time, especially if it's hot in the garden. My grandparents used to say that these birds sang to announce when very hot days were coming.

Nuestros avistamientos cada vez se ponen más divertidos y entretenidos; nos encanta aprender del comportamiento de los diferentes tipos de aves que visitan nuestro jardín. Qué maravilloso contar con nuestra ¨Nikon¨-¨Coolpix¨-¨B500¨ :  para fotografiar a cuántas especies de aves nos visitan cada semana.

Our bird sightings are becoming more and more fun and entertaining; we love learning about the behavior of the different types of birds that visit our garden. How wonderful to have our Nikon-Coolpix-B500 to photograph the many bird species that visit us each week.
