Hello Bird enthusiasts, I am sharing my newest entry today. It is Round 246 of the challenge. Big thanks to @nelinoeva for hosting this event.
Amidst life's hustle, escape can be found in the simplest scenes. A recent walk by the riverside offered just that: a charming encounter with our feathered friends.

There they were, a small parade of ducks, their bright orange feet performing a delightful waddle on the grassy bank. Their glossy green heads (for the drakes) caught the sunlight, contrasting beautifully with their white and grey feathers. Each step was a gentle sway, a slow search for a stray crumb or a blade of grass.

Watching them navigate the land with such unhurried purpose is surprisingly soothing. It’s a quiet reminder to pause, observe, and appreciate the uncomplicated moments nature offers. No grand theatrics, just pure duck life, living in the moment, completely unfazed by the world beyond their riverbank.

Next time you’re near a river, take a minute. Lose yourself in the gentle waddle. You might find a little bit of peace waddling right back at you.
