Mis queridos #GeekZone, caí en las redes de venezolario y considero que es uno de los juegos que más me ha encantado en todo este tiempo.
No solo porque tengo el gentilicio alborotado 😊, sino por muchas razones más. En primer lugar, considero que es una forma de rescatar y aprender como nos comunicábamos antes; nosotros tenemos un diccionario venezolanismos, creado por Daniel Castro, donde se reflejan muchos términos de nuestra jerga popular. Sin embargo, los modismos o estas nuevas formas de los jóvenes entenderse, han ido desplazando estas palabras con las que crecimos.
Basta escuchar a un niño diciendo césped, mochila o coche a lo que realmente es: monte, bulto y carro 😉.
Actualmente, se ha reconocido el gentilicio GOCHO por la Real Academia Española, para referirse a las personas que son originarias de los páramos andinos (por allá, donde cae nieve). Entonces, si tenemos palabras tan propias ¿Por qué no ponerlas a prueba con este juego hecho para nosotros?
Por otro lado, que lo haya creado una joven con raíces no propiamente venezolanas, pero que quiere a este país tanto como nosotros, es digno de darle la oportunidad de ver que tanto nos conocemos linguisticamente hablando.
Otra de las ventajas que nos ofrece el juego, es que podemos ejercitar el cerebro, buscar, pensar, y soltar muchas risas en cuanto encontramos alguna palabra que desconocíamos, o como me pasa a mí, no recordaba que existía. Por eso, les invito a conocer el juego y acá les cuento un poco, capture a capture lo que he encontrado:

VENEZOLARIO
My dear #GeekZone, I fell into the trap of Venezuelario and I consider it one of the games I have loved the most in all this time.
Not only because I have the gentilejo alborotado 😊, but for many other reasons. First of all, I think it's a way to rescue and learn how we used to communicate; we have a Venezuelanisms dictionary, created by Daniel Castro, which reflects many terms from our popular slang. However, idioms or these new ways that young people use to understand each other have been replacing the words we grew up with.
Just listen to a child saying césped, mochila, or coche when they really mean monte, bulto, and carro 😉.
Currently, the term GOCHO has been recognized by the Royal Spanish Academy to refer to people who are native to the Andean moors (where it snows). So, if we have such unique words, why not put them to the test with this game made for us?
On the other hand, the fact that it was created by a young woman who does not have Venezuelan roots, but who loves this country as much as we do, is reason enough to give it a try and see how well we know each other linguistically speaking.
Another advantage of the game is that we can exercise our brains, search, think, and laugh a lot when we find a word we didn't know, or, as happens to me, didn't remember existed. That's why I invite you to check out the game, and here's a little screenshot of what I've found:
Esta viene siendo la página principal. Acá indica la configuración, las arepas ganadas que son las que permiten subir de nivel, el avatar que puedes configurar con nombre y stickers preferido, el ticket de al lado no sé para qué sirve, pero te la dan y desaparecen y las monedas que ganas, que puedes usar para pedir pistas.

We have the same banner as before, but now with the definition (as it should be), below it is for a synonym clue, the blank spaces, and options for clues: a letter, hide the wrong letters, and in green is to ask someone playing with you via WhatsApp if they know the word. Me he reído muchísimo con palabras como por ejemplo COTUFA, porque a mis casi 40, me enteré de que es una palabra muy venezolana, que no existe en otros países 🤣. Y eso que vamos por el nivel más bajo 😎.

Y como les dije, vamos desbloqueando niveles, palabras, secciones, en fin, aprendiendo y refrescando conocimientos. No todo es Caracas, acá hay ciudades que aprendieron a comunicarse y esta creadora las puso todas a disposición de nosotros para unirnos como país.

Para mí es un juego divertido, fácil, entretenido, que permite compartir experiencias y aprender. Mi J.J. y yo empezamos y vamos nivelados aprendiendo cada vez más; no lo vemos como competencia sino aprendizaje 😊.
Lo único malo es que la creadora ha dicho que está estudiando la posibilidad de cerrarla porque "la generación de cristal" que no creció como nosotros, se ha quejado de algunas palabras 🙃, y no lo han disfrutado como lo estamos haciendo MILES de venezolanos que en el juego ha descubierto temas de conversación y diversión al 1000000%.
Ya veremos en que termina esta controversia.

For me, it's a fun, easy, entertaining game that allows you to share experiences and learn. My J.J. and I started and are gradually learning more; we don't see it as competition, but rather as learning 😊.
The only bad thing is that the creator has said she's considering disabling it because "the crystal generation," who didn't grow up like us, has complained about some of the words 🙃, and they haven't enjoyed it as much as we have. Thousands of Venezuelans have discovered conversation pieces and 1000,000% fun in the game.
We'll see how this controversy ends.
