Hola a la comunidad familiar y amiguera de hiveblog, el día de hoy quise compartir con ustedes un blog sobre mi experiencia yendo a disfrutar el encendido de la navidad en mi estado, Sucre. Sinceramente, tenía dudas sobre publicar esto, debido a que, como sabrán muchos, en mi país, Venezuela, el gobierno decreto y declaro las navidades a partir del 1ero de octubre, encendiendo las luces navideñas en instituciones públicas y plazas de la región, y pues he sido bien cuidadosa con respecto a mencionar algo relacionado con la política, pues no quiero ser mal interpretada. Sin embargo, a pesar de eso, quise compartirles mi experiencia.
Hello to the hiveblog #family and friends community, today I wanted to share a blog post about my experience enjoying the Christmas lights in my state, Sucre. Honestly, I was hesitant about posting this because, as many of you know, in my country, Venezuela, the government decreed and declared Christmas starting October 1st, turning on Christmas lights in public institutions and plazas throughout the region. I've been very careful about mentioning anything related to politics, as I don't want to be misunderstood. However, despite that, I wanted to share my experience with you.
Aunque el 1ero de octubre estaba muy cansada, quería vivir por primera vez la experiencia de estar en un encendido de luces navideñas, y le pedí a mi novio que me llevara a la plaza Bolívar de la ciudad, que allí habían dispuesto tarima, cantantes, y todo lo relacionado con la navidad. Sin embargo, llegamos luego de la hora del encendido, y no pudimos hacer el conteo regresivo, pero, disfrutamos el ambiente, sinceramente, mejor de lo que esperaba, había emprendedores con dulces (dulce de lechosa), bebidas (ponche de crema) y comidas (hallacas), y buena música en vivo, todo en relación a la navidad.
Although I was very tired on October 1st, I wanted to experience the Christmas lights switch-on for the first time, so I asked my boyfriend to take me to the city's Plaza Bolívar, where they had set up a stage, singers, and everything Christmas-related. However, we arrived after the switch-on time and couldn't make it to the countdown, but we enjoyed the atmosphere—honestly, it was better than I expected. There were entrepreneurs selling sweets (papaya candy), drinks (cream ponche), and food (hallacas), and good live music, all Christmas-themed.
Paseamos un rato por los alrededores de la plaza, tomándonos fotos con el encendido navideño que, estaba muy bonito. La navidad es época de dar, y realmente es mi época favorita del año, disfruto aún más para; compartir con mi familia, salir de fiesta, y unirme más a compañeros, por lo que, ir a este tipo de actividades es gratificante y simbólico para mí, aprovecho la oportunidad que me da el blog, de agradecer a mi pareja de cumplir mis ilusiones, pues aunque él estaba muy cansado por un día largo de trabajo, igualmente, me llevó un rato a disfrutar.
We strolled around the plaza for a while, taking photos with the Christmas lights, which were very pretty. Christmas is a time of giving, and it's truly my favorite time of year. I enjoy it even more when I spend time with my family, partying, and bonding with colleagues. Therefore, attending these types of activities is both gratifying and symbolic for me. I take advantage of the opportunity the blog gives me to thank my partner for fulfilling my dreams. Although he was very tired from a long day at work, he still gave me time to enjoy myself.
Como pareja, disfrutamos tanto que, estábamos bailando algunas de las gaitas, y con música en vivo, que pienso, se sienten mucho mejor en el cuerpo. Esta salida, también nos une como pareja, porque salimos de la rutina, vivimos algo nuevo, por lo tanto, diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados. Ame nuestra salida nocturna y navideña, y se la recomiendo a todos los que me leen por este espacio.
As a couple, we enjoyed it so much that we even danced to some of the gaitas, and with live music, I think it feels much better. This outing also brings us together as a couple, because we break away from our routine and experience something new, and therefore, something different from what we're used to. I loved our Christmas night out, and I recommend it to everyone who reads this space.
