Bueno, por mi parte va a estar bastante movido; es quincena y espero que el emprendimiento tenga bastante movimiento también 🙏. Pero bueno, hoy les quiero hablar un poquito de lo que fue la celebración de los 61 años de mi papá; algo muy íntimo, pero la pasamos súper chévere 🥰.

Anyway, today I want to tell you a bit about my dad's 61st birthday celebration; it was very intimate, but we had a wonderful time 🥰.
Hace algunos posts les compartí la torta que le hice; fue la primera vez que hice una tres leches y me quedó espectacular, la verdad me encantó. Pero bueno, este día fue sorpresa para él porque yo me hice la que no iba; de hecho, no iba a ir porque no lograba terminar su tortica, pero luego, entre mi hermana y yo pudimos hacerlo y le caímos de sorpresa allá en la casa. Nos fuimos como a eso de las 10 de la mañana los niños y yo.
A few posts ago, I shared the cake I made for him; it was my first time making a "tres leches" cake, and it turned out amazing—I truly loved it. This day was a surprise for him because I pretended I wasn't going; in fact, I wasn't planning to go because I hadn't managed to finish his cake, but then my sister and I made it happen and we surprised him at the house. The kids and I headed over there around 10:00 AM.
Al llegar, me conseguí con que mi mamá ya le había hecho una tortita sencilla de Frescolita que estaba súper rica, por cierto. Mi mamá está haciendo un curso de repostería y, bueno, junto a la vecina había hecho esa tortita. Adicional a esto, había otra torta que pudieron decorar... bueno, ella no, en realidad la decoró el esposo de la vecina, ¡que se dedica a pintar carros! Jajaja. Sí, porque ellas apenas están iniciando y no les salía bien, así que él se puso tan impaciente que al final le dijo: "Dame acá, que yo hago eso", y la verdad es que le quedó súper chévere.
When I arrived, I found out that my mom had already made him a simple "Frescolita" cake, which was delicious, by the way. My mom is taking a baking course and she made that cake along with the neighbor. In addition to that, there was another cake they decorated... well, she didn't; it was actually decorated by the neighbor's husband, who is a car painter! Lol. Yeah, since they are just starting out and it wasn't looking right, he got so impatient that he finally said, "Give it here, I'll do it," and it actually turned out great.
Mi hermano también pasó buscando a mi abuela, que no puede faltar en las celebraciones. ¡A esa viejita cómo le gusta el bochinche, caramba! Jajaja. Bueno, Emma también estuvo bailando con mi abuela; estuvieron tomando y riendo. Yo sí no quise nada porque la verdad me sentía un poco inflamada y no quería abusar más con el alcohol. Mi hermano le regaló una parrilla que, bueno, al cumpleañero le tocó condimentar porque el que generalmente hace las parrillas no asistió, jajaja. Pero bueno, se les fue un poquito la mano con la sal, aunque al final comimos delicioso, cantamos cumpleaños, tomamos foticos, nos reímos y celebramos la vida de mi papito, que espero que me dure muchísimos años más 🥰🥰🙏.
My brother also picked up my grandmother, who can't miss a celebration. That lady really loves a good party! Lol. Well, Emma was also dancing with my grandma; they were drinking and laughing. I didn't want anything because I was feeling a bit bloated and didn't want to overdo it with alcohol. My brother gave him a barbecue as a gift; well, the birthday boy had to season it himself because the person who usually grills couldn't make it, haha. They went a little overboard with the salt, but in the end, we had a delicious meal, sang Happy Birthday, took photos, laughed, and celebrated my dad's life. I hope he stays with us for many more years 🥰🥰🙏.
