Hola amigos de #Familyandfriends, espero que estén pasando un martes genial. ¡Por acá, gracias a Dios, todo bien! Aunque el clima ha estado bastante loco, estamos bien, jeje. Hoy quiero contarles y mostrarles un poco de lo que fue el cumpleaños número 75 de mi abuela, en el que, gracias a Dios, pudimos ir a pasar el día con ella. ❤️
Hello #Familyandfriends friends, I hope you're having a great Tuesday. Everything is fine over here, thank God! Although the weather has been quite crazy, we’re doing well, hehe. Today I want to tell you and show you a bit of what my grandmother's 75th birthday was like, where, thank God, we were able to spend the day with her. ❤️
Mi mamá compró los materiales y yo le hice la "torta imposible". Ella probó la que hice en mi cumpleaños y le encantó; además, ella no es amante de mucho "pegoste", como ella le dice a las cremas 😂, así que bueno, le hice su imposible.
My mom bought the ingredients and I made her an "impossible cake." She tried the one I made for my birthday and loved it; besides, she isn't a fan of too much "gooey stuff," as she calls frosting 😂, so I made her an "impossible" one.
Llegamos y Ema enseguida se puso a comer jobo, jajaja. Luego mi abuela nos sacó un tobito LLENO y obvio todos comimos, jeje. Chris y mi hermanito en lo suyo, así pasaron casi todo el día, mientras que Ema y Teresita hacían desmadre por toda la casa. 😂
We arrived and Ema immediately started eating hog plums (jobo), hahaha. Then my grandma brought out a FULL little bucket and obviously we all ate, hehe. Chris and my little brother were doing their own thing, that's how they spent most of the day, while Ema and Teresita caused chaos all over the house. 😂
Mi primo mató un carnero e hicieron un talkarí, creo que se llama, y quedó DIVINO, la verdad 🤤. La carne estaba súper blanda. Mi papá fue el encargado de prepararlo junto a mi primo y sus amigos; él también le dio su sazón, y el sazón de mi papi nunca defrauda, jeje.
My cousin slaughtered a sheep and they made "talkarí," I think it's called, and it was DIVINE, honestly 🤤. The meat was super tender. My dad was in charge of preparing it along with my cousin and his friends; he also added his seasoning, and my dad's seasoning never disappoints, hehe.
Así pasamos el día entre risas y anécdotas, y ya en la noche, después de hasta serenatas que le dedicaron a mi otra abuela jajaja, le cantamos el cumpleaños a mamá —que por cierto es mi abuela, pero jamás le hemos dicho así, jeje—.
That's how we spent the day among laughter and stories, and later at night, after some serenades dedicated to my other grandmother hahaha, we sang Happy Birthday to "Mom"—who by the way is my grandma, but we've never called her that, hehe.
Acá una foto con todos los nietos y bisnietos y la viejita feliz. ❤️ Pido para ella muchos años más de vida y, sobre todo, SALUD. ❤️
